“Behind a frowning providence He hides a smiling face.” There’s a truth there, that the song writer says, that you and I need to know. The reason why is because how frequently Scripture hits us with this truth. The Providence itself makes it look like God is frowning at you, but if you can pull back the veil you see a smiling face and the kingdom of heaven.
Judge not the Lord by feeble sense,
