Hebrews 10:39 – But we are not of those who shrink back and are destroyed, but of those who have faith and preserve their souls.
I have been burdened for some time. You know, I was thinking about the text that says, “In Christ, neither circumcision nor uncircumcision is anything.” But do you know what really matters? It’s faith working through love. I thought that maybe on this first Sunday back in the pulpit, I would speak on faith, and perhaps in two weeks, I would talk about the idea of love. Brethren, please turn in your Bibles to Hebrews Chapter ten. We have the Word of God. I mean, if I have a burden, it is that our lives, my life, and your life be conformed to this book. God has given us a book filled with truth, inspired truth. Where else would we go for faith? I mean, if there’s a chapter, we’re going to get to it. It’s Hebrews 11. But I want to start at the end of Chapter ten, simply because this chapter division isn’t inspired, and the author has actually introduced the idea of faith before reaching Chapter 11, verse 38…
