What Songs Should The Church Be Singing?

In this Ask Pastor Tim we look at these questions: Do the Scriptures explicitly command the church to sing from the book of Psalms and only the Psalms? Also, should we sing a song that is full of sound doctrine but something about the author’s past was questionable?
