We are all being pulled along in the gospel net and are on our way to the judgment. Will God throw you into hell on that final day? Is your hope in Christ or are you just merely religious and lost? We must examine what we say is the gospel and see if we truly do believe in Christ and Him alone.
We are all being pulled along in the net, what will happen to you when you reach judgment? Matthew 13:47 Again, the kingdom of heaven is like unto a net, that was cast into the sea, and gathered of every kind: 48 Which, when it was full, they drew to shore, and sat down, and gathered the good into vessels, but cast the bad away. 49 So shall it be at the end of the world: the angels shall come forth, and sever the wicked from among the just, 50 And shall cast them into the furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.
Is it biblical to say that Jesus Christ went to heaven to prepare a mansion for someone? What is so special about heaven? Why do you want to go to heaven? Is it because of Jesus Christ? Do you have a deep longing for Christ! Matt preaches on John 14:2-3
He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life: and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life; but the wrath of God abideth on him. - John 3:36 If you are outside of Christ today the wrath of the living God abides on you and as 1 John 3:8 make clear, you are a child of the devil. True salvation is not found in our works and performance but in the work and performance of another, Jesus Christ, the God man who came in the flesh. He lived the perfect life that we never could, He died the death under the wrath of God as the perfect sacrifice for the sins of those who believe. Flee to Christ, flee from the Wrath of God to Jesus Christ who is the City of Refuge, the only place of refuge is truly in Christ alone.
The Wrath of God and Hell are real.
Tim Conway preaches a sermon on Matthew 7 and on the narrow way which leads to life that few people find. This was at the 2010 Youth Camp in San Antonio, Texas. The truths in Matthew 7 and Luke 13:24 are shocking to most modern day Christians and are unheard of to be preached, but they still stand as true and man must examine himself by such truths.
13 “Enter by the narrow gate. For the gate is wide and the way is easy that leads to destruction, and those who enter by it are many. 14 For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and ithose who find it are few. - Matthew 7:13-14
Four points: 1. The Security of the World (The lost don't think they are going to hell) 2. The Severity of Hell (How it is described) 3. The Suitability of Hell (The lost deserve to go there) 4. The Sanctity (Holiness) of Hell (Not that hell sanctifies, but hell reveals God's absolute holiness) Tim Conway is pastor of Grace Community Church in San Antonio, TX: www.gccsatx.com

There are only a few people will make it to heaven... For the gate is narrow and the way is hard that leads to life, and those who find it are few. - Matthew 7:14
Man doesn't want to admit how utterly helpless and worthless he is before God because of his pride. It's this very pride that will send him to hell.
