The Love Behind Church Discipline

Should we let love cover a multitude of sins? Yes, and at the heart of loving our brethren, we want a person’s greatest good. Yet there are times when we must not cover sin but expose it, and to cover it would be wrong. There are certain sins that are not safe to the church, or safe for the individual. In these cases the most loving thing to do, for the person’s greatest good, is to discipline them out of the church.
