We’ll see in Acts 8 how every conversion follows the same pattern and yet each is completely unique—just as every face has two eyes, two ears and one mouth yet no two are alike. God prepares a soul’s hunger, even in the desert of Ethiopia; a servant of God meets the seeker, runs alongside his chariot and opens Scripture; Jesus Christ Himself is unveiled in His death, burial and resurrection; and the Holy Spirit brings the heart to life, bringing the Ethiopian eunuch from a place of ritual religion into the waters of baptism and rejoicing.
