The conference is a few weeks away, so please be in prayer for the time, and those who wish to attend still have time to register.

2023 Fellowship Conference

Brethren,

There will be two Fellowship Conferences in the near future. On February 23-25, 2023, there will be a smaller one in New York. Visit https://illbehonest.com/fcny/ for more information.

Also, for the thirteenth time the Fellowship Conference will be held again in Denton, Texas on April 6-9, 2023. Registration for this conference opens on January 31. For more information go here: https://illbehonest.com/fellowship/

What is the purpose of these conferences? As the tagline says, “Fellowship, preaching, and singing that center on the glory of God.” In the past decade, countless numbers of people have come out of false doctrine and encountered the true Gospel. Many of these people were isolated and lacked fellowship, and the conference helped provide encouragement and an opportunity to build deeper relationships with other believers. As a result, more sound churches have been established, and we have all been able to fellowship with one another. So the Fellowship Conference, as its name suggests, focuses on fellowship with other believers as a significant reason for our gathering. It is also part of the reason why we’ve never posted ahead of time who is going to speak. We would much rather have people drawn to a conference to fellowship with other believers than to hear a specific man preach.

I ask you to pray for these conferences, that they will meet the needs of different believers and that the lost would come to know Christ.

A Few Conference Reminders

2021 Fellowship Conference

Will there be a Fellowship Conference this year? Yes, we are planning to, Lord willing, host the conference in Denton, Texas, on April 1-4, 2021. However, due to the current climate of constant change in government mandates, we are moving the usual January 1st registration back to February 15th at 6 pm CST. Currently, Camp Copass, whose facilities we have used to host the conference for the past decade, can host us. We ask that you all would pray that the Lord would keep the door open; and that God would have His hand upon this conference.

In view of the situation with the Coronavirus, will we still be having the conference?

Some have asked, “In view of the situation with the Coronavirus, will we still be having the conference?” As of today (3/13/2020) our desire and plan is to still have the conference. We realize that this depends upon how the situation with the Coronavirus develops. Various circumstances could come about that would cause the conference to not be held. We want everyone to know that if this were to happen we would be able to refund your entire conference registration. For those who are staying off-site, you would need to cancel your room at SpringHill Suites two days prior to the first day of the conference. Our plan is to have clarity and make a decision by March 29th. If for any reason someone desires to cancel their registration, you can do so up to March 29th.

Please pray that the Lord would allow our conference to take place and that He would meet with us in mighty power.

Directions from Embassy Suites Hotel to Camp Copass

Due to construction that is taking place the following directions are advised for those who are staying at the Embassy Suites Hotel.

1. Head north on I-35E service road to the intersection at US Hwy 380.
2. Turn right onto US Hwy 380 (University Drive).
3. Travel 5 miles and turn right onto Loop 288.
4. Travel 1.4 miles and turn left onto McKinney Street.
5. Travel 3.6 miles and come to the entrance of Camp Copass.
