There is a type of Christianity that is all fire and wood – where people are very passionate about the works they do, or heated up about secondary things. However, the problem is that Christ is reduced to an after thought. Christ takes second place and becomes something added on rather than the center.
Genesis 22:7 And Isaac said to his father Abraham, “My father!” And he said, “Here I am, my son.” He said, “Behold, the fire and the wood, but where is the lamb for a burnt offering?”
